Campus Ministry
In keeping with the mission statement and philosophy of Mercy schools, Lauralton Hall functions as a community of faith. The Director of Campus Ministry has primary responsibility for development and growth of the spiritual life of the entire school community: students, faculty, administration and staff. In collaboration with students and staff, the Office of Campus Ministry plans retreats, liturgies and prayer services for both students and staff. In keeping with the spirit of Catherine McAuley, Lauralton Hall has created an atmosphere where gospel values are not only taught, but lived.

Students participate in a four-year service program which strengthens their sense of compassion and encourages them to become active and responsible participants in the global community. More detailed information on service program requirements and service forms can be accessed from  the Service page on Hallways.

In the spirit of service to the poor, Lauralton Hall Outreach sponsors special collections throughout the school year. Students also support Thanksgiving, Christmas and  Easter drives to benefit Mercy Leaning Center in Bridgeport.
Campus Ministers will meet the following Tuesdays: Sept. 13; Oct. 4, Nov. 1, Dec. 6, Jan. 3, Feb. 7, Mar. 6, April 3 and May 1. from 2:25-3PM in the Campus Ministers Office-lower level of Mercy Hall.

“The poor need help today, not next week.”
- Catherine McAuley, Foundress of the Sisters of Mercy
